tattoos and piercings -Cass doesn't have any tattoos, and her only piercings are the basic ear-lobes, which she got done when she was nine.
distinguishing features -One of the first things people notice about Cassie is that she's pretty- really pretty. Her eyes are an unusual shade of pale blue, and she often has a very far-off look in them. Beneath her right eye, there is a small "beauty mark", and her dark, curly hair falls down just past her shoulders.
physical flaws -Although her skin has never been particularly problematic, Cass hates the fact that is so pale. She has a hard time tanning, and all sunbathing ever seems to achieve is a tomato-face.
personal style -Cass has never been one for the "wearing outlandish clothes to make myself feel more special" thing. She'd much rather just stick with what's comfortable- usually t-shirts and jeans, with pretty dresses in summer and nice weather. Taking care of a two-year-old tends to eat into a lot of her free time that would otherwise be spent shopping for new outfits, but she doesn't mind.

likes -[/blockquote]dating, having the money to buy nice stuff, lie-ins, cuddles, spending time with Ruby, loud music, old-fashioned stuff, her 1st generation pink iPod mini, cats, tea, sitting in the sun, pear drops, manga, indie rock, wearing freshly ironed clothes, kisses, the colours silver and light blue, The Killers, reading, taking Ruby to NY to see her granddad amd Uncle
dislikes -not being able to buy nice things for Ruby, dancing, meat, having to get up early, her job, strawberries, boring people, having to be serious, her little sister, the disney channel, grapefruit juice, difficult to say names, stupidly long movies, going too long without a party, heavy bags, camping
strengths -Despite her struggling, Cassie is a great mother. Over the past two years, she's learnt to be patient and kind, and she's always been very caring, too. She is a strong swimmer, a skilled drummer, and has learnt to make the most of the smallest amounts of money.
weaknesses -Cass has had a special weakness for partying since she was 13, and would quite happily spend every bit of cash she has on weed and booze if not for the fact she has a child to take care of. Like any first time mother, she's constantly worried about Ruby's safety, and can sometimes be over-cautious because of this. Cassandra was never particularly bright back in school, and as such she is very deffesive if someone tries to insult her intelligence.
fears -something bad happening to Ruby, mannequins, going broke
secret -"I wasn’t drunk when we hooked up, and now two years on I'm raising his child alone. He has no idea that he's a father, and he doesn't even remember me."
overall personality -Always known for her iron will, Cassie is one of the most stubborn girls in the whole of Boswyth. Once she gets an idea into her head, it's almost impossible to change her mind, and she's likely to stick by her bad decisions out of sheer pride. While this means she will always honour her commitments, and that she's 100% reliable, it also means she will usually refuse to admit she's wrong, or own up to a lie, to the point where she makes things ten times worse.
Thanks to her own tendency to be creative when it comes to the "truth", Cass is also very suspicious of others. It is difficult for people to gain her trust, and even close friends and family are suspects the majority of the time. Cass is very aware of the fact that people many not always be honest with her,[ which makes her very difficult to fool.
You might not think it, but Cass is actually a religious girl- a buddhist, to be precise. She believes that the soul gets reincarnated after death, either as an animal or another human, and because of this she's a vegetarian- no one wants to eat their gran, right? She spends a little time each morning and evening meditating, because it helps her focus and stay calm when needs be. Even with all her spiritual beliefs, Cass is still the sort of person you don't cross. Ever. She has a habit of making anyone who gives her a hard time suffer, of making them pay. Usually, that involves turning others against them, or setting things up so they get hurt the same way that she was- it varies depending on her mood and what exactly the person has done. In Cassie's mind, the punishment should always fit the crime.
When it comes to Romance, Cassie Prewett is a seasoned veteran. She's been through breaking up, making up, meaningless flings, one night stands, the works. The only thing her repertoire is really missing is a serious relationship. Up until now, she's always played the field, dated as many guys (and girls) as she could without seeming like a whore, and been in it purely for the thrill. Now, she's just as promiscuous as ever, but she'd really like to find something more. She wants some stability for her little girl, and she knows she has to tone down the partying and sex if she wants to be a good parent.

history -Born and raised in Lakewood, Ohio, Cassie Prewett's accent of course sticks out like a sore thumb here in the sleepy seaside village of Boswyth. Most of her earliest, Happiest memories consist of running around her back garden with her older brother and parents as a little kid. Unfortunately, that happiness was rather shot-lived. When Cass was five years old, her mom gave birth to a second daughter, who she told Mark was actually the child of his best friend, Jack Harper. Shocked and Hurt, Mark filed for divorce and moved out, and within a few months he'd found a new job at a Recording Studio in New York City.
Lynn and Jack married a few years later, and they tried their best to create a happy family unit with James, Cassie and baby Claire. As soon as they were old enough to understand, Mark explained to Cass and James what had happened to end his marriage to their mother, and from then on both of them blamed her for their dad being alone.
Cassandra was 14 when her mom and Jack decided to move the family to a little village in England that they'd visited a few times on holidays. James flatly refused to go with them, instead moving to live with his dad, and Jack and Lynn dragged Cassie along with them and Claire, enrolling her a local school that she hated, using an education system she didn't understand. She fell in with a "bad crowd", and spent the next few years partying, doing drugs, and having sex with whoever happened to fall into her lap.
When Cass was 15, during an end of year house party at one of the older kids' houses, she found herself in the bathroom with a guy from her economics class. Tyler Bradford was in such a state of inebriation at the time that it was a wonder he managed to hook up with her at all, but Cass hadn't been there long, and she was completely sober. The next day, she saw him in the street, but he didn't even seem to recognise her. Of course, at the time she didn't think much of it; just another one-night stand. That was before she found out she was pregnant.
Young, Alone, and with no one else to ask for help, Cassie turned to her mom and Jack. They had a low income as it was, but still they offered to support Cass as much as she needed, and after years of hating her mother, Cassandra finally found herself forgiving her. As soon as she was 16, Cassie dropped out of school, and got a job on the front desk of a local hotel to try to help pay her way.
Now, at the age of seventeen, Cassandra Prewett is mother to a two-year-old girl who has never met her father, and she's trying to scrape together enough money to pay rent on a small flat for them both to live in. She is grateful for all of her mom's help, but she doesn't want Ruby to grow up living in her grandmother's house and sharing a bedroom with her mother.

Caitie stepped into her fireplace, tipping the last of her floo powder out of the little ceramic pot into her hand. She would have to remember to get some more while she was out. If she could afford it. Money had been even more tight than usual lately; her landlord had upped the rent and her boss had been taking money out of her wages for damages. It really wasn't her fault if the daft man had left her in charge of the shop and expected her to watch his eight year old son at the same time now, was it?
"The Three Broomsticks, Hogsmeade." she said clearly, in her usual Irish lilt.
Flames leapt out of nowhere, blazing emerald green and licking at her bare arms and legs harmlessly. Really she could have just apperated, but there was something about standing in the centre of the bright flames that Caitie just loved. It was more... theatrical than simply performing a small pirouette, and a lot more comfortable. And then there was all that nasty business about splinching.... Nah, Caitie would much rather use the floo network, thank you very much.
The roaring in her ears came to an abrupt stop, and Caitie stepped gracefully out of the fireplace in the back room of The Three Broomsticks, making her way straight through to the bar. Christ, she needed a drink. The eighteen year old purchased herself a firewhiskey, sitting down on one of the polished stools and casting an eye around the room for familiar faces. There weren't any. Or at least, not that she could see.
This was an odd experience for Caitie Finnigan. For once in her life, she'd found herself sitting at a bar all alone. Then again, it could have something to do with the fact that this was by no means one of her usual haunts, and more to the point, it was barely even mid day. Sighing, she took a deep gulp of her drink, swallowing it down moodily. When had she gotten so messed up that she spent her afternoons drinking alone? She was an eighteen year old girl, acting like a sixty year old man
