It's so difficult when you've been friends with someone for what feels like forever, and then you start to think that maybe you feel a little bit more for them than just ... I don't know. I don't know how to describe it. It's even more difficult when you spend every second of your life not feeling good enough for anyone. I don't think she feels the same way back, but it would be amazing if she did - Gloria's the one who can make me feel better about anything, and she's the only person who knows anything about my parents. Not the whole of it; no one knows that. But I've told her bits and pieces, and I trust her not to tell anyone else. I'd be happy to spend the whole of my time with just Gloria, but the thing is, I doubt she feels the same way, and besides, I don't want to do anything that might ruin our friendship, and that's why I'm not going to try anything with her.
